Job description

We're looking for a Senior Bid Manager to join our Construction business based in Witham. Within this role, you can enjoy progression opportunities, flexible hours and the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects of all sizes and complexities. 

Location: Witham, Essex.

Contract: Permanent, full time – flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know. 

Responsibilities 

As a Senior Bid Manager, you'll be working within the Pre Construction team, supporting them in building projects that support and develop the local communities. 

Your day to day will include: 

• Assemble a bid team with the relevant knowledge and skills to prepare a winning bid 
• Follow the agreed bid management procedures and ensure they are implemented at each stage of the bid process 
• Chair Bid Kick off meetings solution development and mid bid meetings with internal and external stakeholders 
• Develop tender period programme, communicate actions to the team and monitor progress 
• Attend feedback sessions with the client and coordinate tender queries and amendments.  

Who are we looking for? 

• Proven experience in bid management 
• Bidding experience on education, healthcare, commercial and leisure projects        
• Previously worked with a leading national or regional contractor
