Purpose :
As the Director of ATMP Business Development and Technical Strategy, you have a pivotal role in shaping our future success . This role requires you to lead business development initiatives, leverage your technical expertise, and foster innovation within our organisation. You'll place a central role in guiding the site leadership team to formulate ATMP strategies, explore different modalities, and staying attuned to technical trends that fuels market growth and adoption.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand our presence effectively in the ATMP market.
- Offer expert technical guidance, highlighting our development and manufacturing capabilities, while shaping tailored solutions for clients.
- Lead the creation of technical content, project proposals, and work packages that precisely align with clients' technical and commercial expectations, enhancing our competitive edge in the market.
- Conduct thorough industry research, identifying potential clients, analysing market dynamics, and staying abreast of emerging technologies and trends to inform our decision-making.
- Proactively identify and present innovative opportunities to the management team, offering novel solutions or services that strategically address the evolving market.
- Actively participate in industry-specific conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build relationships within the ATMP community, while showcasing and promoting our technical capabilities and outreach efforts.
- Assist the sales team in negotiating contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring they align with our company's objectives, contributing to our long-term growth and market influence.
- Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with key organisations, research institutions, or collaborators in the industry to enhance our market presence and foster mutual growth opportunities.
- Actively support the site General Manager in shaping ATMP strategies, assessing various modalities, and staying informed about the latest technical trends and adoption patterns, steering our direction within the market.
Qualifications:
- A degree (or equivalent) in a life sciences (or related) field.
- Demonstrate a strong scientific understanding of the market, showcasing successful experience in technical leadership, ideally within the ATMP or Biologics sector.
- Results-oriented approach with a track record of contributing to business development and strategic initiatives.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Display proficiency in market analysis and knack for innovation.
- Project a professional and credible image of the company at various events and gatherings.
