Job description
FD Recruit are partnering with a legal firm in Lancashire to engage a part time, interim FD. This role would suit a portfolio FD with capacity to support a client for 2 or 3 days per month. The portfolio Finance Director will work with the partners to create a finance function that is fit for purpose. The interim FD will support the partners with defining the strategy of the business moving forward.
The interim FD will have the following responsibilities:
- Understand current processes and systems within the finance function.
- Implement improved processes and procedures and create a finance function that can scale with the business.
- Identify and recommend a finance team structure that would be fit for purpose to manage day to day financial operations.
- Ensure compliance through the implementation of robust controls, with internal financial and accounting policies
Qualifications - Qualified finance professional with experience as a portfolio FD.
- Legal services experience preferred.
- Ability to implement change
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent leadership abilities.
The rate advertised for this role is a guideline, the rate offered will be commensurate with experience.
