Our client is a leading organisation based in Sutton Coldfield, who have ambitious growth plans and require a forward thinking Financial Controller to help drive towards achieving these goals.
Job Description
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Provide recommendations for improving financial performance.
- Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
- Develop and manage financial systems and policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACA, CIMA, ACCA). Those QBE with relevant industry experience may be considered.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of business principles and practices.
- Superior attention to detail.
