Job description
Our client is a rapidly expanding drainage cleansing company, currently outsourcing vehicle servicing and repairs. They require a qualified and experienced mechanic to look after their fleet of trucks, vans, and plant. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual who works on their own initiative to grow and progress with their company. The fleet mechanic will join their dynamic transport team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of the company and make a significant impact on their fleet operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication, organisational and fleet mechanical skills, this role is perfect for you! This role is for a commercial vehicle mechanic for both mobile and workshop settings in London and Home Counties areas. This is a full-time position with the salary dependent on experience, plus overtime. Experience of DAF and Scania chassis, engines, and gearboxes with Whale and JHL drainage backend plant would be highly desirable. Support will be available from their outsourced specialist engineers while the successful candidate becomes familiar with their equipment. Other duties include:
