Job description
Our client works within the Tech industry supplying multi-use transactional platform providing e-payment and e-learning solutions for businesses, education institutions, governments, and non-governmental organisations. They are now looking for a Client Priority Manager to join their growing, UK wide team.
Salary: £27,000 to £35,000
The Client Priority Manager (CPM) role is a full-time home-based position with the majority of work being carried out virtually and by telephone, although there may of occasion be the need to carry out limited field-based activities. The client base within the Wales/West of England area is diverse, and growing, it ranges from Local Authorities to individual schools of all sizes, to independent contract caterers.
The CPM will have the dual key responsibilities of retaining existing clients within the area by providing excellent after sales and continuing support and driving business growth from within that client base.
Reporting to the UK Sales Manager the CPM must work closely with the central Support Team, based in Surrey, and the Product Manager to provide a full range of 1st and 2nd line client support services to existing, and future clients, in the Wales/WoE territory.
The CPM will be required to develop and maintain strong, professional working relationships with the key contacts at each contract within the territory, ensuring clients remain fully informed on all aspects of service, communicating progress and issues in a timely and effective manner.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious, self-starter who is comfortable in establishing, and maintaining, relationships with a broad spectrum of clients, at all levels of responsibility. Able to display a calm and reassuring approach, particularly in pressured situations, the right candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They will be comfortable communicating and reporting on the activity within their area to the internal management team, as well as communicating important information to clients.
As a technology business the right candidate will also require a good level of IT literacy, being comfortable with packages such as Microsoft 365, and able to quickly understand the software solutions we provide to clients.
It is also desirable that the CPM possess a level of understanding of the Welsh language. While the CPM need not be fluent in either written or spoken Welsh a degree of sensitivity to the specific needs of clients who do is required.
