Job description
Sunrise Diversity is a grassroots charity promoting equality diversity and social inclusion in Northern Devon. Since we established in 2013 we have seen rapid growth meaning we need more keen people on our board
What will you be doing?We are especially keen to find someone with some education experience and someone else with a marketing background. Ideally, we are looking for people who understand organisational change and development, maybe with some understanding of how charities operate but if your main attribute is simply a passion for helping our communities become increasingly accepting and inclusive, we’d still love to hear from you. Diverse lived experiences are also exceptionally important for us to develop a strong board and to ensure we are representative of the communities we serve.
If you don’t think you are ready to be a Trustee, we have some satisfying volunteering opportunities and will be very happy to accept pro-bono support. We are also interested in helping younger and inexperienced people take steps into community leadership so please do make contact whatever your level of interest.

Passion for helping our communities become increasingly accepting and inclusive
What difference will you make?As part of our board, you will support us through a period of growth and development as we continue to shape our direction for our strategy over the next three years.
