Job Overview

Overview: Join our team as a Logistics Manager responsible for overseeing Warehouse and Transport operations, including domestic and export logistics functions.

Responsibilities:

• Transport Expertise: Proficient in domestic and international freight management, including comprehensive knowledge of ocean, sea, and road freight. Skilled in commercial invoicing, incoterms, and ensuring compliance. Proactively negotiates with suppliers to secure optimal prices and services for the business.
• Operational Efficiency: Implement Lean methodologies and TEOA techniques to enhance warehouse efficiency. Utilize ABC analysis and resource optimization strategies for improved warehouse performance.
• Performance Management: Drive achievement and maintenance of high standards (STS 98% / STR 95%) by conducting regular meetings with warehouse teams and ensuring smooth operations across Goods In, Picking & Packing, and Despatch departments.
• Leadership and Development: Lead and inspire teams, fostering a culture of proactivity and innovation. Encourage team members to contribute ideas for the department's success. Develop and maintain KPIs related to Transport, Goods In, warehouse, and dispatch while providing staff training and development opportunities.
• Facility Management: Oversee the service and maintenance of warehouse equipment, ensuring optimal functionality. Implement and sustain 5s+1 principles in the logistics area.
• Succession Planning: Contribute to and execute strategies for talent development and succession planning within the logistics department.

What your background should look like:

• Experience in Warehouse and Transport management.
• Proficiency in Lean methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Change management mindset.
• College education in Logistics or Supply Chain.

Nice to Have:

• APICS (BSCM) certification.
• CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) affiliation.
