Job description
Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager required to join a global engineering manufacturer.
The successful Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager will work remote, covering the midlands and south selling and managing key accounts within the mechanical power transmission sector via distribution channels and OEM customers.
The successful Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager must have an engineering qualification, HNC, HND, or Degree qualified with a desire to work within the mechanical power transmission industry.
Package - £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager Role - Managing key accounts within the mechanical power transmission sector via distribution channels and OEM customers
- Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling mechanical power transmission products, such as bearings, couplings, gearboxes, motors, drives, belts, chains, pulleys and or similar MRO products.
- Maintaining new mechanical power transmission sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Fully remote, covering the Midlands and South of the UK
Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager Requirements - Will ideally have experience in a technical sales role such as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar.
- A good understanding of electric motors, gearboxes, gear units, is advantageous.
- Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable company.
- A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree is essential.
- Experience selling or managing key accounts within the mechanical power transmission industry, such as, bearings, couplings, drives, motors, gearboxes, chains, pulleys, belts, hydraulics, pneumatics, and, or similar MRO / Mechanical Power transmission Engineering products and systems.
- Full clean driving license.
