Responsibilities:
- PSHE Curriculum Development:
- Develop and implement engaging PSHE lesson plans, integrating your background in English or humanities for a multidisciplinary approach.
- Use effective communication skills to facilitate open discussions and enhance student expression.
- Adaptation of English/Humanities Skills:
- Leverage expertise in English or humanities to create meaningful connections within the PSHE curriculum.
- Utilise strong communication skills to guide students in exploring and articulating their thoughts on various personal and societal topics.
- Inclusive Learning Environment:
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, encouraging students to comfortably discuss sensitive topics.
- Implement activities that promote diversity, inclusion, and mutual understanding.
- Collaboration with colleagues:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to seamlessly integrate PSHE concepts into other subjects, providing students with a comprehensive educational experience.
- Share strategies and insights from your English or humanities background to enrich interdisciplinary approaches.
- Assessment and Feedback:
- Implement diverse assessment methods to gauge student understanding and monitor personal and social development.
- Offer constructive feedback to empower students in their journey of self-discovery and growth.
- Extracurricular Involvement:
- Contribute to extracurricular activities that enhance students' well-being and personal growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to offer cross-disciplinary extracurricular opportunities.

Requirements:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Humanities, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or equivalent qualification.
- Teaching Experience:
- Proven experience in teaching English or humanities, with a passion for fostering students' personal and social development.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for student discussions.
- Adaptability:
- Flexibility to work 4 days a week (Monday to Friday) and adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Humanities, or a related field.
