School Capital Programme Manager
3-6 month interim contract
Inside IR35 – £500 per day

5 days a week – hybrid – 1 day on site

Are you an experienced Programme Manager? Do you have a strong background of School/SEND Capital? Due to changes in the service this local authority is looking for a School Capital Project Manager to support the Head of Service.

Your duties as School Capital Programme Manager:

• Lead on finding places unplaced SEN children liaising with schools and interim’s within the council
• Deliver on strategic plans and targets around capital budgets and SEND Sufficiency
• Co-ordinate programme and project resources being accountable for the performance, progress and timeliness of the Children’s Services capital programme

Experience needed as School Capital Programme Manager:

• Have experience specifically within SEND Capital within an LA
• Track record of delivering service improvements and reducing service costs
• To have managed projects in accordance with service level agreements and/or customer service standards
• Experience working with government, procurement, and planning and building team
