Job description
We are currently seeking a Finance Administrator to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Croydon. This crucial role within the Finance Department and you will ensure the smooth running of the accounting functions.
Key responsibilities....
- Sales and Purchase Ledger
- Credit account applications for approval
- Contacting trade references
- Invoicing
- Statements
- Liaison with accountants for end of month/year accounts
- Proforma invoicing for contracts
- Debtors/creditors list
- Creditsafe updates on system
Requirements

- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible and comfortable working in a continually evolving small family business
- Ability to learn system and reporting functions
Benefits
- £26,000 starting salary, with a salary review at the end of six-month probation period.
- Bonus scheme based on company performance.
Hours: Standard hours 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday – Friday, but will consider personal circumstances.
