Main Purpose of the job:
The M365 Integration Specialist plays a vital role in Lewisham Council’s IT and Digital Services department, responsible for the seamless integration and optimisation of Microsoft 365 (M365) suite of applications and services.
As an M365 Integration Specialist, your primary objective is to leverage your expertise in M365 technologies to drive efficiency, productivity, and collaboration across the organization.
Knowledge and Experience
Proven experience as an M365 Integration Specialist or similar role, with a strong focus on M365 integration and administration.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other related applications.
Proficient in developing custom solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Functions is preferred.
Familiarity with ITIL best practices and knowledge of IT security principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Experience of managing 3rd party IT and service suppliers
Solid operational understanding and experience of working within a Local Authority commercial environment.
Excellent experience of stakeholder management to an executive level
Experience of dealing with multiple concurrent issues and the ability to prioritise appropriately in line with commercial and business priorities.
Experience of networking/forming and sustaining relationships across the Council and with external partners
Strong understanding of technology requirements and good awareness of key trends and developments in the IT industry and potential commercial and operational implications
A general understanding of good practice in relation to digital solutions and potential implications in legal compliance and data protection.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Industry recognised architectural accreditation, e.g. ISEB,TOGAF etc.
