Relief Tail-Lift Minibus Driver – Job share available
This position requires the driver to collect Service Users from their homes and transport them to the Day Centre in the mornings and take them home again during the afternoon, usually between the hours of 8.15 – 10.30 and again 15:15 – 17:30 (Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays accompanied by an escort to support passengers) and to and from a local Supermarket 9.30-11.30 on Fridays (with scope to extend the hours of this service). This position is offered on a ten hours contract plus additional hours covering annual leave and sickness at a rate of £10.50 per hour (reviewed annually). We would consider a dual role with care worker.
Applicants must have category D1 on their drivers licence and be aged 25 years or over. MiDAS and mandatory training will be provided. DBS check will be made prior to appointment.
