As the Lead Data Intelligence Specialist, you will play a central role in using data to drive our company's growth. You will utilise your expertise in data mining and analysis to generate valuable actionable sales leads and provide insights into key decision-makers within our target client base. This role requires both mastery of traditional data techniques and a strong understanding of the evolving landscape of data mining and AI-assisted tools and technologies.
You will be working Monday to Friday from 9am until 5:30pm.

Your day-to-day duties as the Lead Data Intelligence Specialist will include:
Sales Lead Generation and Data Mining:
- Lead and mentor the Data Team in mining, scraping, and collecting pertinent information about potential clients, particularly parsing data from multiple public sources, writing rules algorithms to prioritise the data source, tag, store and distribute.
- Use both traditional and innovative AI-assisted data gathering methodologies to provide a consistent, steady stream of high-quality and actionable sales leads for the Sales and Marketing departments.
- Monitor, evaluate, and continually refine data collection methods to ensure optimal efficiency and accuracy.
- Liaise with the Product Team to coordinate efforts to make datasets complete with regards to new products being launched while understanding the product and being able to convey the product to the Data Team.
AI Integration and Collaboration:
- Work closely with the CTO and the AI Research & Development team to provide high-quality training data for simulations, forecasting models, and other AI engines.
- Evaluate and incorporate cutting-edge AI technologies for enhanced data acquisition and analysis.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and how they can be integrated into data collection and analysis for enhanced results.
- Assist in the integration and application of AI tools and techniques to further enhance data collection methods.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer between the Data Team and AI R&D to ensure alignment and synergy in projects and objectives.
Compliance and Ethical Considerations:
- Ensure all data gathering, handling, and processing activities adhere to legal and ethical standards.
- Ensure the privacy and security protocols are strictly adhered to during data collection and storage processes.
- Continuously update knowledge and practices in line with evolving data protection laws and ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with the CTO to develop strategic initiatives around data intelligence and its applications within the business.
- Communicate effectively with other departments, especially the marketing team, to understand their needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the Data Team, promoting best practices in data intelligence.
- Facilitate effective communication between the Technology and Marketing departments.
Requirements
As the Lead Data Intelligence Specialist you will have:
- Proven experience in a senior role in data mining or data analysis teams in B2B organisations.
- Experience in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in tools and platforms used for data scraping, mining, data cleansing and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of trending AI-assisted data mining technologies and their application in data intelligence.
- Experience in mentoring and leading teams.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the UK public tenders, procurement frameworks, and government contracts industry is desirable.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is desirable.
- Salary of up to £42,000 (depending on experience)
