Priory Hospital Burgess Hill has a new and exciting opportunity for you to join our Team; in September 2023 we opened a third ward which is a 10 bedded male adult PICU.
The hospital is currently split across three units:
- EA – male psychiatric intensive care ward
- AJ – male psychiatric intensive care ward
- MS – acute general adult male-only ward

We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Assistants to join the team and work across both the adult and adolescent units.
We will also consider applicants with no experience in this field who have a passion for delivering high quality patient care. Full training will be provided and an opportunity to work towards the nationally recognised Care Certificate.
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate their skills and experiences in engaging with patients, effectively managing risk and promoting patient involvement in their care and treatment.
You will want to work in a therapeutic environment that supports the patients move towards a safe, more independent future and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills. You must be able to work long shifts 07:45-20:15 and 19:45-08:15 on a roster that include nights and weekends.
You will work with the Multi Disciplinary Team in the assessment, planning and implementation of patient care and be expected to facilitate groups and recreational activities. This unique opportunity will allow the successful candidate to gain experience in a multitude of specialist areas working in CAMHS, Adults Acute, Addictions and specialist OCD fields, to expand your knowledge and skillset giving you an outstanding foundation in your career.
