Job description
As treasurer you’ll have an essential role in planning and accounting for our finances to ensure the long-term sustainability of our charity.
What will you be doing?We’re passionate about making the countryside in Leicestershire a better place for everyone to enjoy. Our vibrant team of volunteers inspire people to care for the countryside and enjoy the benefits it brings wherever they live.
Volunteering with us is a fantastic way to help us champion environmental issues such as the climate emergency, renewable energy, biodiversity and sustainable transport.
As treasurer you’ll ensure our financial affairs are conducted within legal requirements and good practice. You’ll work closely with the chair and trustees to oversee the financial sustainability and development of our charity.
What are we looking for?We’re ideally looking for volunteers with experience in financial management and a passion for environmental and countryside issues.
By volunteering with us you’ll be helping to find positive solutions for the issues facing the countryside and the environment. By applying your skills and experience you can make a real difference and be a central part of a friendly and passionate charity.
