Background

The Climate Emergency Collaboration Group (CECG) is a regranting collaboration made up of some of the world's largest climate philanthropic funders. CECG is fiscally sponsored by Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA), a 501(c)(3), as a Sponsored Project within its charitable-giving fund.

This work will come under the CECG’s Implementation Programme with the objective to maintain and strengthen mitigation ambition in the multilateral climate process (UNFCCC) in line with science. The objective is underpinned by three pillars of work: accountability and transparency, energy transitions, and food and nature. The expert consultant will support the Programme Director around non-party stakeholder accountability and transparency with a focus on the international climate negotiations and the implementation of outcomes from the UNFCCC and wider UN processes.

The Climate Emergency Collaboration Group is looking for a consultant with expertise in international climate change accountability mechanisms and architecture who can provide technical advice to our growing programme of work.
