We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hospital Director to join the team at The Wilmslow Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK. We are located in the heart of Cheshire and are currently rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). To build on our success, we are about to embark on an expansion programme and as such are looking for an experienced healthcare leader to take us forward. In pursuit of excellence, you will be personable and a great communicator, whilst holding yourself and others to the highest standards.
As Hospital Director you will be responsible for the planning, organising and directing of the overall facility operational services. You will maintain oversight of financial viability, ensuring the facility meets its statutory and service obligations for the delivery of high-quality care. Reporting to the CEO, you will work closely with Executive colleagues and Consultant Partners to implement business strategy and operational plans.

What you’ll bring:
Educated to DMS, Degree level or equivalent is essential
MBA or similar is desirable
Significant operational management experience within healthcare
Excellent leadership and strategic planning skills
Financial acumen with a track record of effective budget management. A sound understanding of Health & Safety and statutory undertakings as related to Healthcare
Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
Project management experience is desirable
