Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client - a leading UK Packaging Company in their search for a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join their Winsford based manufacturing site
For the successful Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) our client is offering:i. £44,977 starting salary, opportunity to earn up to 46,400 basic salary.
ii. Shifts are 6-2, 2-10, 10-6 rotating with weekend overtime available at weekends at x 1.5 Saturdays and x2 Sundays
iii. Permanent position
iv. Company pension
The role - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias):i. Attending breakdowns and repair in a timely and controlled manner
ii. Ordering spares and repairs and keeping within the maintenance budget
iii. Planned preventative maintenance on a variety of production machinery including conveyors, packaging machinery, and Ancillary test equipment.
iv. Repairs and Installation to electrical apparatus
v. Comply with health and safety and food safety legislation
What our client are looking for in the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias):i. Must hold electrical engineering qualifications -
ESSENTIALii. Extensive fault finding/diagnostic experience
iii. Electrically competent with strong mechanical awareness, inclusive of Hydraulic and pneumatic fault finding. Experience working with control panels - contactors, motors, starters, inverters and PLC systems
iv. The ability to analyse control panels, wiring diagrams and carry out fault finding
v. Plastic extruder experience an advantage but not essential as training given
vi. Robot experience an advantage but not essential as training given
vii. Machine work/fabrication would be an advantage but not essential as training given
viii. Must have own tools, tool box will be provided and specialist tools will be provided.
