Group Reporting Accountant

Job description

A multi-national technology business is currently looking for a Group Reporting Accountant to join the growing finance team of a company based in Maidenhead. This role would suit a Newly Qualified ACA from an audit environment, looking to make their first step into a highly progressive environment within Industry.

The position will be responsible for both internal and external reporting, reviewing the internal control environments and improving efficiencies within the Finance team.

Duties:

• Assist with managing the consolidation and month end processes
• Assisting with the preparation of the Group’s monthly management accounts
• Limited travel to different offices globally to ensure implementation of Group controls (c. 1 week per quarter)
• Reviewing key areas of the profit and loss and balance sheet
• Reviewing internal control environments and business processes
• Liaising with the Group’s internal and external auditors
• Assist with the production of group financial statements
• Ad-hoc items as requested

Experience/Key attributes:

• Qualified Accountant – ACA / ACCA
• Previous experience in internal or external audit experience preferred
• Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
