Job description
As Maintenance Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Proactively be involved in the safe and effective day to day maintenance activities
- Be responsible for the availability of all machinery, plant and infrastructure through a programme of Preventative Maintenance.
- Responsible for maintaining, improving and reporting of an appropriate suite of industrial recognised ‘Key Performance Indicators’
- Be actively involved with the quality and accuracy of all service and maintenance records including the Maintenance/Facilities SAP Modules.
- Provide direct assistance in Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulic and Pneumatic plant and machinery control breakdowns/faults.
- Day to Day communication with other departments.
Accountabilities:
- Reponsible for helping to improve and maintain the availability of all Facilities, Plant and Production machinery
- To implement current HSE legislation including certification, monitoring and inspection in areas of responsibility.
- To assist in the maintenance of the building security.
- To be actively involved with the delivery of projects relating to facilities to schedule, cost and agreed requirements.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- Experience in a maintenance / facilities management environment.
- Experienced in preventative maintenance of manual and CNC machining centres
- Hands on experience of Hydraulics /Pneumatics /Electrics /Mechanical.
- Proven team work and lone working experience.
- Good level of education in Maths and Sciences (GCE, GCSE or equivalent).
- Apprenticeship or equivalent in electrical/mechanical discipline.
