Job description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a mixed practice in Derbyshire. The mix is approximately 70-80% small animal, 20-30 % farm (mostly beef and sheep but some dairy) and a small amount of equine work. The full-time role is based on a 40-hour week over 5 days per week, between 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. The standard on call rota is 1 in 7 weekends (dependant on staffing levels), with TOIL in the week following, and weekday nights on call spread between all the vets. Saturday morning consulting on a 1 in 7 rota (dependant on staffing levels), with TOIL given. You will be joining a team made up of 5FT and 3PT Vets ranging from 1 year to 16 years of experience. The role would ideally suit a Vet who has a few years’ experience and wants to continue advancing their mixed practice skills. CPD allowance. Paid memberships. Competitive salary dependent on experience.
