This role, Head of FP&A, is a strategic position within a leading London-based university. The role requires a strong financial background, exposure to research finance, apprenticeships and leadership skills to oversee the university's financial planning and analysis department.

Description

Lead the financial planning and analysis department of the university
Develop and implement strategies for the 5-year planning process to enable financial growth and stability
Oversee the preparation of financial reports and forecasts
Collaborate with senior management to set budget and financial goals
To lead the annual TRAC submission, ensuring that the University fulfils the requirements of the Office for Students (OfS)Implement policies and procedures to improve financial efficiency
Ensure financial compliance with regulatory bodies
Manage and mentor the FP&A team - 11 team members
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial objectives align with university goals

Profile

A successful 'Head of FP&A' should have:

ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA accounting qualification
Proven experience in a similar role within the education sector
Experience dealing with apprenticeship and research financeStrong leadership and management skills
Excellent financial forecasting and budgeting skills
Proficiency in financial software and databases
Strong communication and presentation skills

Job Offer

A competitive salary, with a range of approximately £60,000 - £65,000 annually
