Designer/Design Engineer (Heat Tracing)

Job description
Designer or Design Engineer required for 6 month contract working on heat tracing projects for new build oil pipeline and refinery projects. The projects themselves are overseas but are managed from Tyne and Wear.
Heat Tracing design experience is ideal but otherwise a Piping Designer/Design Engineer with some Electrical understanding may also be suitable. Previous experience of other process industries is also required.
Required:
- Educated to further education level.
- Technical understanding of engineering drawings and documents (preferably familiarity with “process drawings” such as piping isometrics, P&ID’s, etc)
- Be a self-starter/self-motivated, detail oriented and a good communicator
- Computer literate – able to utilise in-house software packages and proficient in MS Excel and Outlook
- Solution orientated mindset - a drive for results supported by strong accountability and “ownership”
- Action orientated and the ability to take initiative, and manage multiple tasks to completion
- Personal ethics and values that align with Win Right values
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Preferred, but not essential:
- Electrical knowledge
- Knowledge of electrical heat tracing
- Experience with Navisworks
- Proven design experience
- Previous experience of working within international teams
- Full driving licence
