Job description
Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) Location: Bishops Stortford, Primary School Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Part-Time, Long-Term Salary: £80-£100 per day Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs. Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of the SENCO. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the holistic development of each student. Monitor and record student progress, contributing to ongoing assessments. Requirements: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or SEN TA is desirable. A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their educational development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs. Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training.
