Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enrich the lives of the people we support with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.

Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.

We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards!

We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support. In return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.

We believe its a great place to work with great benefits too!

About You

I enjoy having my own space. Routine is important and this means that you will need to think outside of the box. The team is dedicated to supporting me to help me live my best life possible

To support me well you will need to access a variety of community facilities and person- centred activities. We evolve and develop together to do things better.

You will need to be reliable and very motivated with a genuine passion for what you do. I like both male and female support staff, however there must be at least 1 male staff member with me at all times.

I will need you to be willing and enthusiastic, always striving to go above and beyond. We need you to understand our compliance with contracts and CQC and help us reach the “Outstanding” rating. I need you to commit to being totally personalised in all that you do.

You will need you to always communicate in a positive and honest way, using communication aids that I understand, mainly via basic Makaton or on my iPad.

It is important for for me to have positive relationships with family and circles of support who are all very important!

I love to recycle and frequently visit the recycling centre. I enjoy going for rides in the car and out for walks. Especially having my snack whilst I am out. I like to watch movies on TV at home, especially comedies.

I find bubbles great fun and really enjoy it when staff encourage me to play with bubbles. I enjoy going out to play bowling, especially if this is followed with a pint at the pub.

My aspiration is to visit Buckingham palace, so if you have any inside connections, you are hired!

If you think that you can relate to me assuring I live my best life possible, I would love to meet you!
