Job description

What you will do in your working day

• Greet and welcome patients as they arrive
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
• Verify and update patient information in the system
• Collect and process payments from patients
• Assist with insurance claims and billing
• Maintain a clean and organised reception area
• Handle patient enquiries and provide accurate information
• Work with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• To undertake other ad hoc duties as requested by the Practice Manager

The training you will be getting

• Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship standard
• Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner qualification achieved upon successful completion of apprenticeship

There is potential progression to permanent employment, depending on the needs of the practice.

The customer service role may be a gateway to further career opportunities, such as supervisory or administration roles and undertake apprenticeships such as:
• Team leader Level 3
• Business Administration Level 3
