I am recruiting several
CARING and
PASSIONATE Assistant Service Managers to join a Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs. The service, which is located in Glanaman, Carmarthenshire supports adults aged between 18 - 65.
The service is looking for candidates with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support.
Salary: £24,204 - £25,762 (including sleeps) + Plenty of overtime available!
Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week + 1 sleep per week
Contract: Permanent
Shifts: A variety of shifts including optional sleeps including weekends
Location: Glanaman, Carmarthenshire. This is a good opportunity for those looking to take the next step in their career from a Support worker Role Previous management experience not essential, as full training will be provided.

As an Assistant Service Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Support the Manager and have joint responsibility for managing the team and the service.
- Planning rotas, management of staff teams,
- Ensuring compliance within the service.
- Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
- Ensuring the safety of the service users.
- Following care plans for each individual.
- Taking service users out into the community.
- Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
- Varying levels of personal care.
Requirements:
- NVQ Or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willing to work towards Level 3
- Senior Support Worker Experience
- Must be resilient.
- Drivers ESSENTIAL due to the location
- Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
