Job description
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead and coordinate the construction of a school extension project in Southampton. As the Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of the project within the specified time frame.
Responsibilities:
Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of the construction project, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
Quality Control: Monitor work quality, resolve any issues, and maintain high standards.
Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and school staff to facilitate smooth project execution.
Budget Management: Monitor project costs and adhere to budget constraints.
Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to senior management.
Requirements:
Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Site Manager in construction projects.
DBS Check: A valid DBS certificate is mandatory.
Strong Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate on-site teams.
Organisational Skills: Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with building regulations and industry best practices.
Effective Communication: Clear communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
