Residential Surveyor  - SE London OR South Coast (BN OR BH/DT) - £50k + Package & Bonuses

We’re working exclusively with the Surveying arm of a major financial services group who (despite the current market) are keen to recruit a number of full time Residential Surveyors in key locations.

In addition to providing the usual range of reports to main lenders, they have expanded their service offering to include (amongst other private surveys) tablet based expert witness reports which can be undertaken at volume, for high fees ensuring excellent OTE.

As a result of this diversification they are now looking to hire earnings focused Residential Surveyors as follows:

• Full time employed, covering one of three patches available:  BN (Brighton) or BH/DT (Bournemouth/Dorset) or SE London
• Undertaking a broad but sustainable (and manageable) mix of work comprising HBR’s (L2), Valuations (Mortgage, Help to Buy, Probate, Matrimonial) and Expert Witness Reports (full training provided)
• Expert Witness work is instructed via panels of solicitors representing tenants pursuing larger landlords (usually social housing) for disrepair and damages (small claims – no valuation element and all remedial costs are pre-filled in the tablet based reports using bespoke software)
• Sensible turnaround times
• OTE protected whilst MV volumes are low – Expert Witness work provides greater £ per point for less risk (no valuation/risk of claim or attendance at court) and requires NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE (full training provided in post – be up and running in a few days)
• Secure workload not reliant on the usual high street lenders (yet still tier 1 panel appointed to ensure instruction when the market improves

Basic salary up to £50k + Car allowance, Private health & Pension and bonuses as a percentage of net fee income (realistic earning potential in excess of £80k for less than 5 points per day – expert witness work valued at 1.5 points per report with 4 reports per day EASILY achieved )
