Divisional Accountant
Hourly Rate: £28 - £35 per hour
Contract: Initial 3-month contract with a view to being extended
Work Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday.
As part of a hybrid working, employees are required to come into the office a minimum of 2 days a week.
Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with a local authority in Central London to provide in the assistance of recruiting a Divisional Accountant.
Role Brief:
The role as Divisional Accountant will add value to and assist in the delivery of the professional services provided by Finance & Corporate Services or the finance function in service departments.
Principle Responsibilities will include:
Provision of high quality information and appropriate financial advice to the council and senior officers.
Assisting in ensuring compliance with the council’s overall regulatory framework
Ensuring the continuous improvement of the quality of financial monitoring and reporting, to enhance decision-making processes
What we’re looking for:
- Evidence of CCAB qualifications
- Employee must ensure Good Quality working papers are available to respond to external audit queries.
