Learning & Development Specialist

Apprentices are the future of our industry. Join us as our Learning and Development Specialist at our growing manufacturing site in Wyke! As our Learning and Development Specialist, you will be crucial in implementing the learning and development agenda at Wyke. In this vital role you will manage, optimize and develop the apprenticeship programme further to ensure future skills are in place and to maximise the apprenticeship levy.

As our L&D Specialist you will have excellent communication skills and be able to challenge and communicate to stakeholders at all levels of the business.
To succeed in this role, you will be extremely well organised, have high energy levels and a passion and commitment for developing and managing the workforce of the future – our apprentices!
Experience of working within L&D in a manufacturing organisation from either an employers or training providers perspective is an advantage but not a necessity, if you have demonstrable experience of success building and optimising apprentice programs across all industries – please apply!
This role is a stand-alone role on the site so you must be self-motivated and not afraid to ask for resources / any help required!
You must have a good understanding of the apprenticeship levy, previous experience of working in a fast paced, customer focussed environment with demanding stakeholders.
You must hold a full clean driving licence and have access to a car to attend events and be open to attending team meetings internationally when required.
As the role develops you may work internationally. German language would be an advantage but not a requirement.
