Job Title: Nights Skilled Production Operatives
Reports to: Zone Leader
Location: Leek, Staffordshire, United Kingdom
Hours: Sunday to Thursday 10pm – 6 am (Fixed Shift)
Salary: Starting at £13.80 per hour
A Day in The Life of a Production Operative
As a production operative, you will work within a team in the factory to ensure the efficient production of our products. Your key requirements include:
- Set up and oversee the production lines in accordance with requirements.
- Be responsible for carefully and efficiently packing a variety of cheese products for distribution.
- Effectively maintain accurate data records and paperwork, control of production CCP’s (Critical Control Points)
- Monitor the production line to ensure products are of the best quality standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain your workstation in line with Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Ensure that any issues that arise are promptly and accurately reported to the Zone Leader.
Personal qualities and experience:
- You will ideally be a people person as you will be working closely in a team.
- Reliability, punctuality, and consistency are essential to enable you to work effectively as a team member.
- A willingness to learn, share knowledge and develop.
- Adaptability and flexibility as you may be required to work in different areas of the factory, as well as perform other reasonable tasks.
- A willingness to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
- Good verbal, written and numerical skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential as the role will involve running machinery and equipment.
