Permanent Veterinary Nurse - Shrewsbury, Shropshire
We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join a small practice in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. This role is full time for 40 hours per week with 1 in 4 half weekends. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
This is an exciting opportunity for an RVN to join a dynamic practice where they will have the support and training to develop their clinical skills and knowledge and utilise all aspects of their nursing skills to their full potential.
The practice provides a culture where all team members are heard, and they offer career progression with ongoing training and development.
As part of the role the nurse will be expected to understand their own role but also the capabilities of PCAs and SVNs to support the development of their skills and knowledge.
There is plenty of support available for a nurse is looking to develop their clinical skills and knowledge and even move into management. There is continual support and mentoring available. There are ongoing internal courses to develop clinical skills and personal skills as well as training to help communicate delicate information to clients.
The practices provide a high standard of clinical care and prides themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres.
All staff and patients benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and CT scanners and state of the art operating theatres in their nearest 24hr animal hospital.
