A fantastic opportunity has opened up for an experienced financial accountant. This role is for 12 months initially, based in North Manchester area near Bolton area and is offering between £40,000 to £45,000

This successful company is currently undergoing and exciting implementation and is looking for an experienced financial accountant to join their fast pace, vibrant and welcoming team.
Description
Duties include:
- Managing a small team of assistant financial accountants
- Supporting the wider team with project work for a financial system implementations
- Fixed assets, stock reporting and debtors
- Monthly analysis of new system expenditure
- Reviewing monthly fixed asset register
- Reviewing monthly stock take reporting
- Preparing monthly stock usage and profit and loss recharges
- Reviewing business rates and reporting
- Reviewing debtors ledger, ensuring any bad debt risk is brought to attention
- Preparation of monthly and yearly cash flow commentary
- Identifying important cash movements in the reporting month
- Posting journals
- Preparing quarterly VAT return
- Assisting with audit preparation and testing
- Ad hoc duties
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous working as a financial accountant - essential
- Have strong attention to detail - essential
- Have strong knowledge of excel - essential
- Have experience working in a fast pace environment - essential
- Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude - desirable
- Have strong communication skills - desirable
- Have experience managing a small team - desirable
- Be a self starter - essential

This role is offering up to £45,000 + hybrid working + free parking
