Job description
TechRadar exists for one simple, singular purpose: to help our readers buy, enjoy and enhance the tech they love. We’re one of the biggest tech sites in the world, and we’re on the lookout for someone to join and help enhance our world-class coverage.
TechRadar has recently launched a successful Appliances and Smart Home channel, and we’re looking for the perfect candidate to join us and run it. Home content has become a crucial part of TechRadar’s world-class tech coverage, with smart home, appliances, lighting and more all evolving to interweave with more ‘typical’ devices, and we need a brilliant editor to provide our deep expertise in this area too.
What you'll be doing…
As Homes Editor at TechRadar, you'll work on all strands of the Home section and have a strong content plan to keep them up-to-date and best-in-class. You'll be laser-focused on writing the best content on the web, with the aim of making TR Home the single destination for home technology advice.
You'll become the face of the Homes section on TechRadar, providing an easy contact for PRs to send new products and offer interviews to, be agile with analytical data to find out what the audience wants and is buying, and have relevant articles and buying guides turned around as soon as possible to maximize trends.
You'll use SEO tools and analytics to monitor the performance of a new suite of evergreen content that you’ll continue to grow, with a view to maintaining and improving search ranking, record video-based content, attend events when required and be a mentor to the younger members of the team.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…
