Civil Engineer
Location: Addlestone, Surrey
Salary: Up to £55k + Excellent Benefits
Job Type: Permanent, 7am - 4pm
The Client:
Our client is a well-established engineering firm, delivering exceptional quality services in the field of civil engineering and construction.
The Role:
As a Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, planning, and overseeing various construction projects.
Responsibilities:
? Conduct on-site visits, surveys, and inspections.
? Create markups for pricing related to proposed drainage, utilities, excavation, retaining structures, access, and general civil work.
? Establish sequencing plans for concrete pours.
? Review drawings generated by the CAD team.
? Provide technical expertise to support the project management team.
? Collaborate with contractors, clients, team members, and directors.
? Ensure compliance with quality management plans for all work.
? Manage and distribute construction drawings both at the office and on-site.
? Verify that construction aligns with design requirements.
? Perform site audits and inspections.
? Address on-site issues promptly.
? Technically coordinate commissioning processes.
? Generate design calculations, drawings, and reports as needed.
Requirements:
? Previously worked as a Civil Engineer or in a similar role.
? Minimum 4 years of working experience in the UK.
? Possess relevant experience in the civil engineering and construction industry.
? Hold a degree in Civil Engineering and/or a masters degree.
? Skilled in working with CAD software.
? Must live within 20 miles to the office location.
? Proficiency in the German language.
