Job description

Driver Hire Stockport are currently looking for a Class 1 Driver (C+E)  to work for our client based in the Glossop area.

Our client is one of the largest producer of comfort cushioning and requires a Class 1 driver to work on an as and when needed basis to cover holidays for their full time drivers.  The work will vary each week but the majority of the bookings will be Monday to Friday.

Please note that the role will require nights but this wont be everyday and there will also be handball involved when dealing with the underlay.

What we require :

• LGV / HGV (Class 1) licence (C+E) – Minimum exp is +1 year
• Valid Digital Tacho card.
• Valid CPC.
• No more then 6 points
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to handball products off the vehicle
• Flexibility to work overtime

£15.69ph and £20.53ph overtime (paid after 8 hours), this is with holidays paid in the hourly rate- for holidays to be put to one side the hourly rate would be £14.00ph and £18.32ph overtime
