Are you an experienced buyer who wants to be part of a high performing, fast paced global team that is responsible for buying the company's finished goods, components and raw materials?
Are you passionate about sourcing and managing a global supplier base to deliver the right cost, quality and service for Games Workshop to support the continued growth of the business? We have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to join our buying team for a fixed term contract of 18 months. You will be responsible for managing suppliers globally in specific categories of product. We'll look to you to build & maintain strong long term supplier relationships & effective sourcing and onboarding of new suppliers to reduce risk and improve supply options. You'll be responsible for owning product critical paths and ensuring they are adhered to, working cross functionally with your suppliers, within the Buying & Merchandising team and across Games Workshop to make this happen. Previous experience of buying, ideally from a manufacturing and/ or global retail environment is essential to this role. You'll be responsible for ensuring cost of goods and service levels are negotiated to deliver margin targets. Suggesting methods and implementing solutions which achieve this without compromising quality. No two days are ever the same in this fast paced role. A positive attitude, strong prioritisation skills and the drive to independently work to high standards under pressure will see you succeed across multiple projects. Other Essential Information
Location: In this role you will be working at our head office in Nottingham (UK) and remotely from home.
Travel: There will be global travel as required to establish new sourcing markets, assess and manage supply base and attend international trade shows.
