Technical Lead, Business Support

As the Technical Lead dedicated to our Business Improvement and Transformation Team (BITT), you will play a crucial role in implementing technological solutions as part of the organization's business transformation initiatives and projects. This position combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of business processes to deliver innovative solutions that contribute to the overall success of our improvement and transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities


• Reporting to the Group Head of Business Systems; you will operate within BITT, leveraging your expertise and practical skills to implement technological solutions.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders to understand business goals and requirements so that innovative and robust solutions are implemented that align with Group standards and provide tangible benefits.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions that align with business improvement and transformation initiatives, in collaboration with IT, our internal technology company and other relevant stakeholders.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, providing recommendations for their application to enhance business efficiency, automation, employee engagement, scalability and agility.
• Ensure alignment with IT strategies, overall business strategies, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with internal IT and colleagues as Technical Subject Matter Expert on BITT-driven development projects, in collaboration with our internal technology company when applicable.
• Coordinate and supervise 3rd party no/low code development and automation teams.
• Share knowledge and coach colleagues in technological solutions to support change management and optimisation.

Candidate Requirements

Essential


• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role, with a focus on business transformation projects.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise-level IT systems, architecture, infrastructure, network and integration methodologies.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Azure and O365
• Strong understanding of no/low code and automation technologies, including workflow
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing technical teams through full project lifecycles.
• Successful track record of implementing technology solutions that have positively impacted business operations and outcomes.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
