If successful, you would work alongside other technicians, panel builders and electricians to gain experience and training on the control systems design and machines. Once trained, and familiar with the systems, the role would involve taking on projects from the initial design stage to on-site commissioning. A certain amount of travel would also be required to support a global customer base.

Automation Technician- Responsibilities include:

• Creating electrical control systems using PLC technology according to provided design specifications.
• Writing code for PLCs, touchscreens, and safety-configurable relay systems.
• Setting up Remote I/O, servo motors, and inverter drives.
• Incorporating additional equipment like vision systems into production lines.
• Identifying and resolving issues in electrical control systems, including PLCs and hardwired systems.
• Installing, assisting, and maintaining systems at customers' sites through commissioning, support, and service work.

Automation Technician- Knowledge, Skills and Experience Desired:

• Prior experience within automation
• Strong engineering foundation
• Firm experience in fault finding, electrical control systems and PLCs

Schedule-  Monday-Friday 40 Hours
