Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a talented and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of new and existing automotive products. You will work closely with other engineers and technicians to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. With the majority of manufacturing conducted in house, this is an excellent opportunity to truly be involved in the full product life-cycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new and existing automotive products
• Work with other engineers and technicians to create and implement design solutions
• Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends
• Prepare and review engineering drawings and specifications
• Test and evaluate prototypes and production models
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and assembly teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and design practices
• Experience with CAD software- ideally SolidWorks, although not a deal breaker
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
