Salary: Grade 12, £50,512 - £54,243 per annum.

37 hours per week

Your role:

Working to the Assistant Director HR & OD, alongside the extended management team, including colleagues from across our HR and Employment Services and Employee Experience teams; you will provide an important strategic senior role in the direct delivery of support to our services providing a comprehensive HR and OD offer.  You will assist in the delivery of strategic and service plans, develop sound relationships and help to ensure Wigan continues to be a great place to work and that we have the right workforce to enable services to thrive now and for the future. 

About you:

CIPD Level 7 qualified or demonstrating equivalent proven experience relevant to the role, you will have undertaken a strategic lead role in supporting and guiding services through periods of change and transformation.  You will have the ability to demonstrate creativity, analysing complex information, drawing conclusions and significant knowledge and experience related to legislation and employment law. With well-developed negotiating and influencing skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners being paramount; you will have a breadth of HR & OD skills that are people focused and demonstrate a can-do attitude evidencing accountability and outcomes achieved.
