Job description
Personal Assistant required for a happy and lively 8-year-old girl who lives in Launceston.
She has Autism and she would like someone who she can build up a positive relationship with and provide her with some 1:1 support. She enjoys soft play . She would like someone to support her with her communication. Using her AAC and Makaton She loves being outdoors, enjoys water and sensory play. A personal assistant will enable her to enjoy activities in her local community with her family. Rate of pay £10.75 per hour. Up to 4 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible. Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required. Car driver essential. Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential. The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
