A fantastic permanent opportunity for a full time Purchase Ledger Assistant role based in Handforth. Also includes the opportunity to get involved in additional duties and grow into a Accounts Assistant position (if desired)

Description
The duties include:
- Issuing and maintaining Purchase Orders
- Accurate coding and posting supplier invoices
- Tracking project costs and Pos via accounting software
- Generating payment runs for approval and loading into bank
- Keeping ledgers up to date - posting payments made to ledgers
- Supplier statement reconciliations as required
- Chasing missing supplier invoices
- Maintenance of accounts email inbox
- Monthly petty cash reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting management accountants
Profile
The successful candidate MUST:
- Have experience with end to end purchase ledger - Essential
- Be able to work independently and as part of a wider team - Essential
- Have excellent communication and organisation skills - Essential
- Be confident working with Excel and sage - Desirable
Job Offer
This role is looking to pay up to £28,000 + parking + pension + progression if desired
