SEMH Behaviour Specialist
Location: Newark
Start Date: Immediate Start Required
Salary: £75.00 – £95.00 per day
GSL Education Lincolnshire is currently in search of a skilled and dedicated SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Behaviour Specialist for an esteemed SEN (Special Educational Needs) client school situated in the Newark region.

Responsibilities: - Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of behaviour plans.
- Develop and implement strategies to address the behavioural needs of students with SEMH challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to create and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support and interventions to students, promoting positive behavioural outcomes.
Requirements: - Proven experience as a Behaviour Specialist or in a related role, particularly within a SEN environment.
- Hold the right to work in the UK .
- Hold an Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) registered on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through GSL Education.
- Strong understanding of SEMH and effective strategies to support students with behavioural challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage with students, staff, and parents.
Qualifications: - Relevant degree or certification in psychology, special education, or a relevant qualification.
