Finance Officer Job Purpose
To manage the operations of the financial transactions of the company.
Duties
- Responsible for the day to day tasks in the finance department
- Experienced in bookkeeping and Purchase ordering
- Experience processing, queries and payment runs
- Carrying out key monthly processes, bank, petty cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable reconciliation including Rents
- Allocating income and expenditures
- Credit Card facility processing
- Expenses
- Fixed Asset transaction processing, including maintain the Fixed Asset Register
- Maintain the Contracts Process
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports
- Assist in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Assist in Monthly Bank Reconciliations
- Administrative duties
- To carry out the month end ledger close process in accordance with the month end
- To run aged debtor and creditors reports.
