Job description
To deliver profitable new business in line with organizational strategic goals, identifying business opportunities, building key customer relationships, negotiating, and closing business deals and maintaining extensive knowledge of market conditions.
How you will contribute?
- Deliver new business targets.
- End to end project leadership, key point of contact for colleagues and customers, the ‘total’ solution expert.
- Support pre-sales customer meetings and prospecting.
- Apply business acumen to filter unsuitable business and qualify best leads from the pipeline
- Define project approach, developing tailored proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Feedback and benchmark of commercial offering
- Ambassador for Wincanton to develop external awareness and positive perception of Wincanton’s capabilities and achievements.
- Market, sector, and Wincanton expert.
- Develop close relationships with the GM and Ops Management team.
