Director of Estates and Capital Projects
c. £75,000 with excellent benefits
Sandwell College is seeking to make a key senior appointment to the role of Director of Estates and Capital Projects.
The largest provider of 16-19 study programmes in the West Midlands, the Sandwell family of colleges is comprised of four campuses – Central Campus, which focuses on the vocational offer for Sandwell; Central St Michael’s, the A Level centre for Sandwell; Cadbury College, providing A Level and vocational provision in Kings Norton and the newest addition to the Colleges estate a brand new specialist Science and Engineering Centre in West Bromwich. Each campus offers a positive and inclusive learning environment to support the College’s mission to deliver the highest quality training and learning programmes that help improve the life chances and the economic prosperity of our learners, communities and businesses.
The Director of Estates and Capital Projects role blends strategy and delivery as the postholder will take the lead role for estates strategy development and masterplanning across campuses whilst leading the delivery of a diverse variety of projects and programmes including new-builds, redevelopment, refurbishment, maintenance and sustainability schemes.
We are seeking an exceptional leader with a proven track record of developing and implementing estates development programmes across diverse and complex property portfolios. A positive and a natural collaborator, you will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The role calls for an individual who is adept at providing leadership at a wider strategic level whilst having a proven track record of delivering capital projects and programme.
